CCM
Category:Polymer film for new energy
CCM, abbreviation of catalyst coated membrane, is a catalyst coated film. During the preparation process, the catalyst is first coated on both sides of the proton exchange film to form CCM, and then the gas diffusion layer is hot pressed on both sides of the CCM to form film electrodes.
CCM Details Description
CCM, abbreviation of catalyst coated membrane, is a catalyst coated film. During the preparation process, the catalyst is first coated on both sides of the proton exchange film to form CCM, and then the gas diffusion layer is hot pressed on both sides of the CCM to form film electrodes.
Compared with GDE membrane electrode, CCM membrane electrode has a strong bond between the catalyst and proton membrane, which is not easy to detach. It can effectively improve the interface resistance between the catalytic layer and proton membrane, reduce the transmission resistance of protons at the interface, and achieve better performance.
The CCM membrane electrode has a thinner catalytic layer, which can improve the efficiency of catalyst use and reduce the amount of catalyst used.
