Difficult-Flammability
Like PTFE and FEP, PFA also has non flammability and lower smoke emission compared to ETFE and PDF. Its ultimate oxygen index (oxygen concentration required for continuous combustion) is greater than 95%.
Mechanical Properties
PFA has high mechanical strength at high temperatures and is suitable for a wide temperature range (-200~250 ℃).

Resistance
PFA has high chemical stability similar to PTFE, can withstand ordinary acids, alkalis, oxidation-reduction agents, and various solutions, but is not resistant to molten alkali metals and high-temperature fluorine gas.
Electrical Performance
PFA exhibits extremely low molecular polarity over a wide temperature and frequency range, and exhibits stable low dielectric constant and low dielectric loss.
